Attached are upcoming important dates including conferences, committee meetings, community events (Iowa State Fair), &

important grant dates. 

Request State Car Seats

First read the Car Seat Roll Out document - then you may fill out the form to request state funded car seats. Please note that a request is not an order. Requests are evaluated & filled based on the needs of the county and current inventory.  

If you receive state car seats, please use the NDCF form.

CPS Toolkits for Community Education

These three toolkits are available for PICK UP from Blank Children's Hospital. You will submit a request for the kit you would like to borrow for an event. After you submit your request, the coordinator will review to ensure the date of your event has not already been booked. Then you will coordinate pick up and drop off!

Want to educate on counterfeit car seats and how to stop our community to falling victim to unsafe car seats? This is the perfect kit for your community!

  • CPS Educational Hand Outs

  • Talking Points for Counterfeit Car Seats

  • Numbers (put on each seat as shown above, have community members guess which seat is real.) â€‹

Booster Bar/Seat Belt Kit

See a need to educate on proper booster seat or seatbelt use? This kit can help! 

Includes:

  • Booster Bar Sign (yellow)

  • Sim Seat

  • Hand outs

    • Discusses booster seat usage/5 step test​

    • Prenatal vehicle safety handout â€‹â€‹

Use this to show how the seat belt should fit individuals based on the 5-step test & discuss how a booster seat 'boosts' a child to fit an adult seat belt!
